Seasonal Job opportunities with Bear Creek Education Center

Qualifications:
We are looking for energetic, outgoing individuals with an interest in educating children in the outdoors. Applicants must have good speaking ability wit large groups. Applicants should have a four year degree in the sciences or education fields (working towards bachelors). Applicants should be able to work long hours and be able to work well with others. ALL applicants will have an intensive training period.

Duties: Working with youth and adults teaching environmental and adventure education. For example: reptiles, birds, trees, aquatic biology, high ropes, rappelling, caving and canoeing to name a few. Naturalists are also responsible for helping to maintain daily camp operations, which may include occasional cooking and cleaning.

Benefits: applicants will recieve their own personal housing. BCEC will pay half of the utility bills not including phone. Naturalists will receive 8:50 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours.
