Horseshoe Bend is one of our most secluded campgrounds and is located on Big Bear Reservoir which has a surface Area of 670 acres. As with our other lakes, Big Bear provides abundant opportunities to soak up nature and enjoy the great outdoors. There is ample opportunity for visitors to fish, boat, or spend the day sightseeing along the banks of the river. The campground has 28 campsites nestled in a beautiful, wooded area near or alongside the lake. Each campsite has water and electrical hookups, with a central dumping station. Horseshoe Bend also has a very nice public beach area with access to picnic tables. The camp store is well stocked with snack items and other supplies, as well as live fishing bait. Other amenities at the campground include a bath house, a boat ramp, and a fishing pier.
Camping fees range from $250.00 to $300.00 for a monthly site.
Take Hwy. 24 West from Russellville. Go south on Co. Rd. 88. Go east on Co. Rd. 16.
Take right on Horseshoe Bend Rd.
