Elliott Branch is located on Little Bear Reservoir, which has a surface area of 1,560 acres. Little Bear is an outdoor enthusiasts’ paradise. From picnicking to fishing to camping, Little Bear has it all. It’s ideal for families and friends looking for lots of fun in the sun and water recreation. The campground has 38 shaded campsites, one of which is handicapped assessable. All campsites are close or directly on the water. Each site has water and 30 or 50-AMP electrical hookups, with a central dumping station. Elliott Branch has one of our most popular public swimming areas due to its white sandy beach, picnic tables, public restroom, and generous parking area. The camp store carries basic grocery items, snacks, drinks, camping and swimming supplies, along with ice and live fishing bait. Other amenities at the campground include a boat ramp, a bathhouse, picnic tables, a playground, a basketball goal, and a pavilion that is available to rent.
Camping fees range from $350.00 to $500.00 for a monthly site.

Most families love the idea of camping, but some just don't like to do without those modern conveniences. If you fall into this category, then you’ll be happy to know that we have just what you need… a fully furnished resort style cabin!
Elliott Branch has 11 cabins situated on a peninsula that extends into Little Bear Creek Reservoir and overlooks the lake.
Each cabin features a charcoal grill, campfire ring, outside electric outlet, and a porch that overlooks the lake. There is also a pier for every two cabins for docking your boat. The cabins provide all the comforts of home, including central heat/air, TV with satellite, wireless internet, full private bathrooms, complete kitchens, and a spacious living area. The one-bedroom cabins, which are numbers 7, 9, and 11, have a king bed. Two-bedroom cabins, which are numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10, have a king bed and a full bed. All cabins have a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker, cookware, silverware, cooking utensils, and dishwashing gel. If you are staying several nights, you will need to bring extra paper towels, toilet tissue, and garbage bags.
Check in time is 4 p.m. and check out time is 10 a.m.
A 14 Day Cancellation Notice is required.
A three-night minimum is required for holiday weekends.
Limit of 6 people in a one bedroom and 8 people in a two bedroom.
No pets allowed at the cabins.
No smoking inside the cabins.
Please note that you can only book a date for the current calendar year. We do not start booking reservations for the next year until after we return from the New Year’s holiday. Booking will be taken in the order they are received, this gives everyone an equal opportunity at booking the most requested dates which are Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day.

Off Season Cabin Rates:
1 Bedroom $85 per night + tax and cleaning fee
2 Bedroom $110 per night + tax and cleaning fee
Stay 6 nights the 7th night will be free.

The Pavilions at Elliott Branch and Slickrock can be reserved by calling the BCDA office 256-332-4392. They can be rented from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. for $20.00. All day rentals are from 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. for $40.00.
Note: If you rent the Pavilion at either Elliott Branch or Slickrock, your group will not be required to have BCDA permits as long as they stay at the pavilion. If they use the beach area, etc. they will be required to have a BCDA permit.
