Who is required to possess a BCDA permit? People between the ages of 16 and 65, regardless of state residency. If you are 65 and older you do not need a BCDA permit, but if you’re a non-resident you still need an out-of-state fishing or hunting license if 65 and older.
The daily permit is available for $8.50. This offers unlimited use of all Camping, Fishing, Swimming, Hunting, Picnic Tables, Piers, Recreation, and Boating areas for a 24 hour period.
The three day permit is available for $12.50. This offers unlimited use of all Camping, Fishing, Swimming, Hunting, Picnic Tables, Piers, Recreation, and Boating areas for a consecutive 72 hour period.
The annual permit is available for $33.00. This offers unlimited use of all Camping, Fishing, Swimming, Hunting, Picnic Tables, Piers, Recreation, and Boating areas. The annual permit is effective from October 1st to September 30th of the following year. Therefore, depending on the time of purchase, an annual permit may not encompass an entire year.
The BCDA office sells the Lifetime permit. This offers unlimited use of all Camping, Fishing, Swimming, Hunting, Picnic Tables, Piers, Recreation, and Boating areas for a lifetime. To purchase a Lifetime permit, you must come by the BCDA office during the working hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
